ダイヤルは電着塗装によるホワイトですが、日付表示を担う外周部は仕上げの差によって質感を切り替えています。12時下の二つの小窓は左が曜日、右が月の表示です。インダイアルは3時に30分積算計、6時に12時間積算計とムーンフェイズを重ね、9時にスモールセコンドを配置しています。ケースは18Kローズゴールドで、ラグは三面カットの立体的な造形です。9時位置のプッシュで日付の早送り、10時位置のプッシュで月の早送りが可能で、曜日の早送り機能は備えません。

ケースはラグのカッティング、ベゼルのエッジがきれいに残り、ケースからラグへ流れるプロポーションが美しく整っています。盤上に大きな劣化は見当たりません。ダイヤルは経年変化により、粒状の荒れがわずかに見られます。ムーンフェイズディスクは褪色が確認できます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

スイスの老舗メーカー＜RECORD（レコード）＞社。1899年、Record Dreadnought Watch CompanyはスイスのGeneva（ジュネーブ）に誕生。後に、＜Tramelan（トラメーラン）＞に主要なボランチを置いたことから、スイスでは＜Tramelan＞のウォッチメーカーとしても知られています。同社は「正確な時計」を“看板”とするために販売後の対応、修理に徹底してこだわりました。時計部品の製造やストックを積極的に進め、同社製品に修理が必要となった際には迅速な部品交換を可能とする体制を整えたのです。1920年代の中頃までに時計の製造と共に、アフターサービスも行う「ワークショップ」をスイス国内3ケ所に設けていました。この取り組みにより＜RECORD＞社は自社製品にいち早くギャランティ（品質保証）を持たせています。

COMMENT

The white dial is finished using electro-deposition, while the outer date ring is differentiated by a subtle change in surface texture. Beneath the twelve o’clock position, the two apertures display the day on the left and the month on the right. The sub-dials are arranged with a 30-minute counter at three o’clock, a 12-hour counter combined with the moon-phase at six, and a small seconds at nine. The 18K rose-gold case features sharply faceted, three-sided lugs that give the profile a sculptural depth. A corrector at nine advances the date, and the one at ten advances the month; there is no quick-set function for the day.

The case retains crisp lug facets and clean bezel edges, preserving the elegant flow from case to lugs. The dial shows no major deterioration, though light granular aging is visible across the surface. The moon-phase disc presents some colour fading. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Powered by the celebrated Valjoux 88, this three-register triple-calendar moon-phase chronograph represents the upper tier of Record’s production.
