光沢のあるグレーカラーのギルトダイヤルが興味深い一品。この世代のIWCインジュニアなどで稀に見られた、レターが下地出しのグレーダイヤルです。インデックスは12時の2ドットにバーが特徴的な、スピードマスター型の夜光で、スピードマスターコンパニオンと呼ばれています。特別薄いケースが採用されており、ケースとフラットなベゼルが一体成型されています。夜光インデックスに、シルバーのバーハンド。デイト機能を配し、実用性が確保されています。ダイヤルはミニッツトラックが傾斜し、やわらかく膨らみを帯びたフォルムです。日本ではキャタピラーと称されるフラットリンクブレスレットは、Ref.1035とエンドリンク530、クラスプデイト71/4を装備しています。

パーフェクトと言って良いダイヤルコンディションです。何年にもわたって手付かずの状態を保っています。夜光はイエローベージュ系のカラーで、均一にエイジングを受けている点が評価できます。またギルトダイヤルですので盤面のカラーが剥離しやすいのですがそれが無く、清潔感やメリハリのある手元を演出できます。弊社にて分解掃除後、40時間以上のパワーリザーブを確認しています。ブレスレットはフォールデッドリンクは8-8個でフルピース、スプリングリンクは正常にストレッチファンクションします。

This piece features a striking glossy gray gilt dial, a rarity among IWC Ingenieur models of the same era, with the lettering etched into the gray base. The 12 o'clock twin-dot markers and bar indices are adorned with luminous material, reminiscent of the Speedmaster, earning it the nickname "Speedmaster Companion." Its exceptionally thin case integrates seamlessly with the flat bezel, creating a cohesive design. The silver bar hands complement the luminous indices, and the inclusion of a date function enhances its practicality. The dial's softly domed form and inclined minute track further enrich its elegant aesthetic. Completing the look is a flat-link bracelet, often referred to as "Caterpillar" in Japan, equipped with Ref.1035, 530 end links, and a clasp dated 71/4.  

The dial condition is nothing short of perfection, preserved untouched for years. The luminous material has aged uniformly to a yellow-beige hue, adding vintage charm. Despite the inherent vulnerability of gilt dials to flaking, this example remains pristine, providing a clean and striking presence. Following a full service by our team, the watch has been confirmed to offer a power reserve of over 40 hours. The folded-link bracelet includes the full 8-8 links, with spring links functioning perfectly for a comfortable fit.
