オフィサーは第二次世界大戦中に中立国であったスウェーデンとOMEGAとの提携により、スウェーデン軍に支給されたモデル。スクリューバックの裏蓋に刻印されているのは全てスウェーデン語です。ケースはミドルサイズの30mm。この年式ではメンズサイズとして定番の大きさです。ラグはケースと一体のラインを描いています。ダイヤルはシルバー×ブラックパターンのブルズアイ。針はシリンジでホワイトのプリントが施されており、インデックスはアラビアで外周にはミニッツレイルが敷かれています。搭載ムーブメントは26.5T3PCT1。PCは耐震装置を意味しています。巻き上げひげにチラネジの付いたバイメタルテンプを備えており、当時の技術の粋を集めた温度補正を備えた機構です。

ケースは傷の少ないグッドコンディションで、ラグやベゼルといった目立つ部分にもダメージが見られず、清潔感のある外観を保っています。裏蓋に刻まれたスウェーデン語の刻印も明瞭で、当時のアイデンティティが色濃く残されています。ダイヤルはエイジングによって味わい深く焼け、内周のシルバーはシャンパンゴールドに変化。外周のミニッツレイルにはオリジナルの銀白色が残っており、光の角度によってさまざまな表情を見せてくれます。針はホワイトのトーンを残しながら経年変化により落ち着いた風合いに。夜光塗料が施されたアラビアインデックスは崩れがなく、淡いベージュへの移ろいがヴィンテージらしい雰囲気を演出しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。

COMMENT

The Omega “Officer” was a military-issued watch provided to the Swedish armed forces during World War II, developed in collaboration between Omega and neutral Sweden. The screw-back case is fully engraved in Swedish, underscoring its military provenance. The 30mm case is a classic mid-size for men’s watches of the era, with integrated lugs forming a seamless profile. The dial features a striking silver and black bullseye pattern, complemented by syringe hands with white print and luminous Arabic numerals. A minute track encircles the dial’s outer edge, enhancing legibility. Powering the watch is the Cal. 26.5T3PCT1—where “PC” denotes shock protection. The movement features a bimetallic balance with timing screws and a Breguet overcoil, a high-end configuration that provides temperature compensation and reflects the pinnacle of 1940s watchmaking technology.

The case is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear; the lugs and bezel remain sharp and clean. The Swedish engravings on the caseback are clearly legible, preserving the historical identity of the watch. The dial has aged beautifully—the silver inner ring has taken on a champagne hue, while the minute track retains its original silvery tone, offering rich contrast depending on the angle of light. The syringe hands show a soft, aged patina while still retaining hints of their original white. The luminous Arabic numerals remain intact, now gently aged to a beige tone that enhances the watch’s vintage appeal. Fully overhauled and cleaned by our workshop.

Originally issued to officers and ranking personnel, this watch was crafted with remarkable attention to detail. With luminous Arabic numerals, syringe hands, and a design that balances utility with elegance, it offers a distinctive character that goes beyond standard military watches.
