COMMENT

オフィサーは第二次世界大戦中に中立国であったスウェーデンとOMEGAの提携により、スウェーデン軍に支給されたモデルです。スクリューバックの裏蓋には、すべてスウェーデン語の刻印が施されています。  

ケースサイズは30.5mmで、当時のメンズウォッチとして標準的な大きさ。ラグはケースと一体の流れるようなラインを描き、視覚的な美しさと堅牢性を兼ね備えています。ダイヤルはブルズアイパターンの希少なブルー×ブラックのカラーリング。印字はすべてギルトで、アラビア数字のルミナスインデックスを採用しています。ムーブメントには26.5T3PCT1を搭載し、「PC」は耐震装置付きであることを意味します。巻き上げヒゲにチラネジ付きのバイメタルテンプを備え、温度補正機構を持つなど、当時の高い技術力が凝縮された仕様です。  

おそらく大切に扱われてきたのでしょう。軍支給時計としては驚くほどのコンディションを維持しています。ケースには小傷が見られるものの、エッジの立ったフォルムがその風格を際立たせています。ベゼルのエッジやケースバックの刻印には摩耗がほとんどなく、当時のディテールがしっかりと残っています。ダイヤルの状態は申し分なく、ブラックのミラー仕上げは艶感を完全に保っており、ブルーの色味に褪色は見られません。ルミナスはわずかに焼け、美しいベージュへと変化。ミントコンディションのダイヤルとベージュのルミナスが織りなすコントラストは、このモデルが持つ最も魅力的な表情の一つといえるでしょう。 弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。

COMMENT

The Omega "Officer" was issued to the Swedish military during World War II through a collaboration between Sweden, a neutral country, and Omega. The screw-back case features an engraving in Swedish, marking its military origins.  

The case measures 30.5mm, a standard size for men’s watches of the era. The lugs are seamlessly integrated into the case, creating a flowing design that combines visual elegance with durability. The dial is a rare blue-and-black bullseye pattern, with all markings in gilt print. The Arabic numeral indices are luminous, ensuring legibility. Inside, the watch houses the 26.5T3PCT1 movement, where "PC" denotes the presence of an anti-shock system. The balance wheel is bimetallic with adjustment screws, offering temperature compensation—a testament to the advanced watchmaking technology of the time.  

This watch has likely been well cared for, preserving an exceptional level of condition for a military-issued timepiece. While the case shows minor scratches, its sharp edges accentuate its distinguished form. The bezel edge and case-back engravings remain crisp, retaining their original details. The dial is in outstanding condition—the black mirror finish maintains its deep gloss, and the blue sector has not faded. The luminous material has aged to a warm beige, creating a striking contrast against the pristine dial. This refined interplay of elements is one of the defining characteristics of this model.
