COMMENT

ステンレススチールに防水スクリューバックケースを採用しています。ダイヤルはマットなホワイトの電着塗装が施され、視認性と高級感が共存するデザインです。2.4.6.8.10.12時にはアラビアンインデックス、それ以外にはバーインデックスが採用された、50年代らしいデザインです。また針は夜光付きのペンシルハンドを採用しています。インデックスに干渉しないように、スモールセコンドは若干中央に寄せて配しています。

搭載ムーブメントは自社Cal.3060で、同系統のムーブとしてCal.3100が存在します。ムーブの仕上げは上質で、赤胴メッキが施されたタイプとなります。また、このムーブは緩急針から突き出る金色のデバイスがあります。ヒゲ棒とヒゲ受の両方がこの形状となっていて、衝撃ヒゲが向こう側に乗り上げてしまうのを防ぐ役目を果たしています。オメガの名作Cal.321にも採用されているものです。

ケースは発売当時の姿を保っており、使用傷が見られるものの、全体的に良好な状態です。ダイヤルはミントです。特筆すべきダメージが一切見られず大変瑞々しいです。針やインデックスのメッキにくすみは見られません。ルミナスは最高のベージュ焼けです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

BRAND

1884年の創業当初から、 クロノグラフを手掛けるエボーシュメーカーとして活躍。1940年代には自社名を冠したミリタリーウォッチを製作し、イギリス軍やスウェーデン軍に軍用時計を供給しています。 特にイギリス軍には陸・海・空軍すべてに同社のクロノグラフが採用されるなど、信頼度の高さを証明しています。また、エボーシュメーカーとしては、1932年以降にOMEGAなどのムーブメントの供給元にもなっています。 1969年の、アポロ11号月面着陸の際にアームストロング船長の腕に巻かれていたオメガの＜スピードマスター＞の機械は、＜LEMANIA＞が手掛けていたことを忘れてはいけません。

COMMENT

This timepiece features a stainless steel case with a screw-down caseback, offering water resistance and durability. The dial is finished in a matte white electroplated coating, combining legibility with a refined aesthetic. The hour markers alternate between Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 o’clock and bar indexes for the remaining positions—a design characteristic typical of the 1950s. The pencil-style hands are lume-filled, and the small seconds subdial is subtly offset toward the center to avoid overlapping with the hour markers.

Inside ticks the in-house Cal.3060 movement, which belongs to the same family as the Cal.3100. The movement is finely finished with a distinctive copper-colored plating. A notable technical feature is the gold-toned shock protection device protruding from the regulator assembly—designed to prevent the hairspring from jumping off during impact. This same mechanism is also found in the legendary Omega Cal.321.

The case retains its original silhouette and is in overall good condition, showing only minor wear. The dial is in mint condition, exceptionally well-preserved with no notable blemishes. Both the hands and indexes remain free of tarnish, and the luminous material has aged into a superb warm beige tone. Fully serviced by our workshop.

BRAND

Founded in 1884, Lemania has been a prominent chronograph manufacturer since its inception. By the 1940s, the company had produced military watches bearing its name and supplied timepieces to the British and Swedish armed forces. Its chronographs were adopted by all branches of the British military, reflecting their reliability. Additionally, Lemania has been a key movement supplier for brands such as Omega since 1932. Notably, the movement in Omega’s Speedmaster, worn by astronaut Neil Armstrong during the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969, was produced by Lemania, underscoring its significant contribution to horology.
