ROLEX DATEJUST No Lum Ref.1600 w.7206 Bracelet 67/4

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Ref.1600, featuring a 36mm stainless steel case with a smooth bezel, is regarded as one of the rarer Rolex configurations, comparable to the Explorer models of the same era. Unlike the brilliance of the fluted bezel, the smooth bezel emphasizes minimalist design, drawing attention to the material’s natural sheen and the purity of its proportions. The silver dial with a fine sunburst finish reflects light softly and evenly, creating a calm and balanced impression. Its uniquely faceted indexes are cut toward the outer edge and polished on the upper surface, adding quiet depth and refinement. It is paired with a riveted Oyster bracelet Ref.7206, end links 75, and clasp code 67/4.

The case retains its sharp lug edges and harmonious proportions, remaining in excellent overall condition. The surfaces show no visible dents or deep marks, and the dial preserves a clean silver tone with distinct grain texture. The applied coronet and indexes retain their mirror-like gloss, showing only minimal signs of age while catching light beautifully from every angle. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The combination of smooth bezel and silver dial embodies Rolex’s pursuit of timeless beauty—refined yet understated, effortlessly suited to any setting. Beyond its rarity as a vintage configuration, the exceptional finishing and balanced design exemplify the quiet mastery that Rolex perfected over half a century of craftsmanship.
