Ref.OT 14.306 は、Cal.372（28SCS PC AM RG SCS）による1秒ごとにジャンプする運針が特徴です。18Kイエローゴールド製のラウンドケースに縦ヘアラインのシルバーダイヤルを合わせ、インデックスや針の造形にも当時の意匠が残されています。デッドビートセコンド（ステップ運針）の腕時計は、脈拍の計測など医療用途にも用いられました。

オメガにてコンプリートサービスをなされた個体です。現在装着されているのは、オメガによって交換されたサービスダイヤル、サービス針ですが、現存数が限られるオリジナルのダイヤルと針が一式で付属することは大変重要です。それらは再装着可能です。オリジナルダイヤルは全体に強い経年劣化が見られます。オリジナルの針は状態がとても良いです。ケースの状態は良好で、ムーブメントは安定して作動しており、ステップ運針は滑らかです。2007年にオメガによってコンプリートサービスされてから、サービスはされていません。作動テストにてパワーリザーブ40時間、日差+40秒を確認しています。

1951年に当時の技術部長アンリ・ゲルバーによって設計され、Cal.360をベースにジャンピングセコンド機構を追加した Cal.372 が開発されました。1954年に約1,000個が製造される予定だったうち、わずかに市販された個体に該当します。パーツの摩耗が懸念される設計だったため、オメガは720個を出荷した後、大半を自主回収したとされています。回収されなかった個体は、一部資料では17個とも言われますが、公的な記録は確認されていません。市場流通が極めて少なかったため、当時の技術的挑戦を示す資料的価値の高いモデルといえます。

Housed in an 18K yellow gold round case, the vertical-brushed silver dial is paired with hands and indices that reflect the design aesthetics of the era. Watches with deadbeat seconds—also known as "jumping seconds"—were often utilized in medical fields for measuring pulse rates.

This particular example underwent a full service at Omega in 2007. It is currently fitted with a service dial and hands, replaced by Omega during that overhaul. Importantly, the original dial and hands—both of which are rarely found—are included with the watch and can be reinstalled. The original dial shows significant aging across its surface, while the original hands remain in excellent condition. The case is well-preserved, and the movement operates reliably, with the deadbeat seconds functioning smoothly. Since its complete service in 2007, no further servicing has been performed. Recent testing shows a 40-hour power reserve and a timekeeping rate of +40 seconds per day.

The Cal. 372 was developed in 1951 by Henri Gerber, Omega's technical director at the time. It was based on the Cal. 360, with the addition of a deadbeat seconds mechanism. Although production plans initially targeted around 1,000 units in 1954, only a small number were ever released to the market. Due to concerns over parts wear, Omega reportedly recalled most of the 720 units that had been shipped. Unrecalled pieces are extremely rare—some sources suggest as few as 17 examples remain, though no official documentation confirms this figure. Given its extremely limited circulation and the innovative engineering it represents, this model stands as an important artifact in Omega’s horological history.
