なかなか見かけることのできないレアモデル、グローブマスターです。コンステレーションが商標問題によりアメリカで販売できなくなり、短期間のみ付けられたモデル名だとされています。シーマスターベースのものも存在しますが、こちらはケース、ダイアル、ムーブメント全てをコンステレーションから流用しています。ダイアルはホワイトカラー。インデックスは砲弾型と人気の3.6.9.12がアラビア数字のタイプ。ミニッツはインデックス内側に配し、バランスが良いです。針はセンターにルムのあるドルフィンハンド。

ケースは傷や打痕がなく清潔感を感じます。ラグはエッジが立っており、迫力を感じます。ダイアルはミントコンディションです。ルーペで覗いても細かい縦線仕上げを邪魔する劣化が見当たりません。針のエイジングは最低限で、インデックスはパーフェクトです。ルミナスは素晴らしいベージュ焼けをしています。ヴィンテージの時計としてみると、この焼け方はたまりません。

Introducing a rather elusive model, the Globemaster, seldom seen in the wild. It is believed to have been used for a brief period as the model name, filling the void left by Constellation due to trademark issues in the United States. While there are Seamaster-based versions, this particular piece utilizes the case, dial, and movement all borrowed from the Constellation. The dial is presented in a white color, with bullet-shaped indexes and the popular 3, 6, 9, 12 Arabic numeral type. The minutes are placed inside the indexes, creating a well-balanced design. The hands take the form of center-lumed dauphine hands.

The case exudes a sense of cleanliness with no scratches or dents. The lugs have a sharp edge, emanating a powerful presence. The dial is in mint condition, with no signs of deterioration affecting the fine vertical line finish, even when viewed under a loupe. Aging of the hands is minimal, and the indexes are in perfect condition. The luminous material showcases a wonderful beige patina. As a vintage timepiece, the aging process is truly captivating.

Powered by the robust copper-colored chronometer movement Cal. 505, it has been serviced by our shop, confirming a power reserve of over 47 hours. Winding it produces a satisfying and smooth sound.
