1958年から1970年初頭まで生産されたスクエア型ドレスウォッチ、Ref.3430です。数十のバリエーションの文字盤、ケース素材（18Kイエロー、ホワイト、ローズゴールド、プラチナ）、及びブレスレットの組み合わせが作られました。こちらはシルバーのサンレイダイアル、ホワイトゴールドケースと最もティピカルでドレッシーな意匠です。26ミリのスクエアケースにストレートラグ、盤上のデザインも全て直線のみで構成された時計で、ストイックなまでの拘りを感じます。ここまで洗練されたデザインで、間延びした印象にならないのは名門としての業前が伺えます。搭載ムーブメントであるCal.23-300は、史上最高の手巻き機械と呼び声も高いものです。その名の通り直径23 mm、高さ3mmとコンパクトなサイズ感で、当時のカラトラバなど小型のドレスウォッチに搭載されました。

ケースは過去に研磨歴の感じられない良いもので、角形ならではの鋭いエッジが効いており嬉しいです。大きな損傷はなく小さな保管傷のみで、リューズ横のホールマークは擦れがありません。ダイアルはミントコンディションです。防水性のない時計ですが、過去60年間に入水の歴がなくサンレイダイアルの美しい質感を完璧に残しています。針とインデックスは上面の鏡面仕上げにくすみは見当たりません。当店にてオーバーホール済みで、パワーリザーブ49時間。日差＋15秒ほどを確認しています。当時のままのコンディションでお楽しみいただけます。

Produced from 1958 to the early 1970s, the Ref.3430 is a square-shaped dress watch. It came in numerous variations of dials, case materials (18k yellow, white, rose gold, platinum), and bracelet combinations. This one features a silver sunray dial and a white gold case, presenting the most typical and dressy design. With a 26mm square case, straight lugs, and a dial design consisting solely of straight lines, it exudes a stoic attention to detail. The refined design without any sense of elongation speaks volumes about its prestigious lineage. The caliber 23-300 movement it houses is renowned as one of the finest manual-winding mechanisms in history. Compact at 23mm in diameter and 3mm in height, it was fitted into small dress watches like the Calatrava of that era.

The case is in excellent condition without any noticeable signs of past polishing, retaining sharp edges characteristic of its square shape. There are no major damages, only minor storage marks, and the hallmark beside the crown shows no signs of wear. The dial is in mint condition, preserving the beautiful texture of the sunray dial without any water damage over the past 60 years. The hands and indexes show no dullness on the top surface's mirror finish. It has been overhauled by our store, with a power reserve of 49 hours. We've confirmed a daily rate of around +15 seconds. You can enjoy it in its original condition as it was back then.
