ROLEX PRECISION Ref.9971J

COMMENT

COMMENT

Introducing a non-Oyster model from the 1970s, this watch is discreet in its Rolex identity, and only those observant enough will notice it, especially with the 12 o'clock area partially concealed. Careful observation reveals distinctive features such as the rare "PRECISION" inscription and the pyramid-shaped edge indexes, giving away its identity. The charm lies in its subtle presence, different from the boldness of the Cellini models. Encased in an elegant case, it houses the robust heart of the hand-wound Oyster, the 1225 movement, showcasing unexpected toughness beneath its unassuming exterior.

The case exhibits minimal scratches and maintains excellent proportions. The edges of the lugs are well-defined, and the hallmark on the lug's back remains pristine. The dial is in superb condition, adorned with vertical hairline patterns, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship. The hands and indexes are exceptionally well-preserved, reflecting light without any signs of plating deterioration. Having undergone disassembly and cleaning by our experts, it boasts a power reserve of over 48 hours, ensuring reliable performance even in formal settings.

It is powered by the 17-jewel low-beat hand-wound Caliber 1225. With our confidence in maintenance, it is a timepiece that can be entrusted to our care.
