Ref.1016のマットダイヤル仕様「マーク2」に分類される個体です。現状では日本国内では、まだ認知されていないことがあります。ダイヤルの書体や夜光の特性から識別が可能です。レターは、ギルトダイヤルのマーク6と同様のフォントが用いられており、マットダイヤルではマーク0の一部およびマーク2にこの書体が採用されています。その違いは、マーク0が初期のトリチウムによってUVライトに反応しますが、マーク2は1970年頃の製造のよる、極々微反応な点で見分けることができます。
マーク1からレターのプリントは代わっており、ROLEXのEのセリフが斜めに、SWISS-T<25はミニッツの上に記載されます。フォントとレイアウトのバランスが良く、人気の年式となっています。ブレスレットは20mmリベットのRef.7206、エンドリンクは58番が付いています。

This iteration sees a change from the letter printing of Mark 1, with the serif of the "E" in "ROLEX" slanting diagonally, and "SWISS-T<25" positioned above the "MINUTE" text.
