DOUBLE SIGNED

This collection brings together vintage watches with “double-signed” dials, where the watchmaker’s name appears alongside that of a retailer, jeweler, or other authorized seller. Well-known examples include Tiffany & Co., Serpico y Laino, and Türler, whose names were added to watches they retailed during the period.

Even within the same model, double-signed examples were produced in relatively limited numbers, giving them a distinct historical context and distribution history compared with standard dials. They offer a glimpse into the relationship between watchmakers and retailers, as well as the regions and markets in which these watches were originally sold.
