GRAND SEIKO

Introduced in 1960, GRAND SEIKO was created as Seiko’s premier watch line, with the ambition of achieving world-class standards of precision and quality. From the first generation onward, the brand developed a succession of high-precision manually wound and automatic movements, later adopting high-beat calibers in the late 1960s and significantly advancing the technical standard of Japanese watchmaking.

Vintage GRAND SEIKO is especially recognized for the sharp case architecture of models such as the 44GS, 45GS, and 61GS, together with faceted indexes and hands and finely executed dial finishes. With equal emphasis placed on mechanical precision, case construction, and dial quality, the collection stands as one of the defining achievements of Japanese watchmaking.
