DAY-DATE
Introduced in 1956, the DAY-DATE is one of Rolex’s defining models, distinguished by its full day display alongside the date. Vintage DAY-DATE watches reveal numerous period-specific differences in case proportions, dial design, indexes, and finishing that set them apart from their modern counterparts.
From the early years through the 1970s, the model was produced in a wide range of distinctive and often rare variations, including classic champagne and silver dials, colored dials, natural stone, and special finishes. At TIMEANAGRAM, we pay close attention to dial variations, period-correct details, and case proportions, selecting examples that best preserve the character and appeal of the vintage DAY-DATE.
