KING SEIKO

Introduced in 1961, KING SEIKO became one of Seiko’s defining high-grade watch lines, developed with the aim of raising the standard of Japanese luxury watchmaking. While GRAND SEIKO was produced by Suwa Seikosha, KING SEIKO was created by Daini Seikosha, and the two developed in parallel through a shared pursuit of greater precision and quality.

Vintage KING SEIKO is characterized by the sharp case lines of models such as the 44KS, 45KS, and 56KS, together with faceted indexes and hands and clean, well-balanced dial designs. Combining practicality with a high level of finishing, the collection stands as one of the representative achievements of Japanese watchmaking in the 1960s and 1970s.
