KING SEIKO Ref.J14102 1st Model

COMMENT

BRAND

COMMENT

This King Seiko is the first-generation model produced between 1961 and 1964. Renowned for its high precision despite operating at a low beat rate, it was designed to compete with the "Grand Seiko" models being produced simultaneously by Suwa Seikosha. The case features a 100-micron-thick 14k gold plating, which is even thicker than that of the Grand Seiko.

The watch has a robust, distinctive appearance that is quintessentially SEIKO. The silver dial, free of any luminescent material, adds a unique, understated elegance. This is a timepiece that will age gracefully, making it a reliable companion for years to come.

BRAND

Developed in August 1961 at Kameido's Second Seikosha, King Seiko was created as a high-end wristwatch second only to the Grand Seiko. It has since become an indispensable part of Seiko's watch history, known for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
