STONE DIALS

This collection brings together vintage watches with dials crafted from natural stone, including lapis lazuli, onyx, tiger’s eye, and malachite. Each dial makes use of the natural color and pattern of the material itself, meaning that no two examples are exactly alike, even when made from the same type of stone.

Particularly from the 1960s through the 1980s, many of these watches were paired with precious-metal cases, creating especially distinctive and decorative designs. Unlike uniformly finished conventional dials, natural stone reveals individual variations in tone, pattern, and reflection, giving each watch a character entirely its own.
