1970年代に見られたスペーシーなデザインが特徴のオメガです。当時はアポロ11号の月面着陸を皮切りに、宇宙開発が一大ブームとなり、近未来的なデザインが数多く生み出されました。このモデルもその一つで、ユニークなデザインが際立っています。純正ブレスレット 5838/147 も付属しています。

ケースは使用に伴う小傷が少なく、清潔感に溢れています。ケース上面および側面のヘアライン仕上げも、傷がほとんどなく、凛とした佇まいを保っています。ダイヤルは非常に良い状態で、針やインデックスにもくすみが見られず、美しいコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除を済ませていますので、ご購入後すぐにご使用いただけます。

＜Geneve（ジュネーブ）＞シリーズは、コンステレーション、デビル、スピードマスター、シーマスターなどのシリーズの中でエントリーモデルとして1964年に登場。エントリーモデルとはいえ、発売当時の国産機械式時計などと比べるとはるかに高性能で、高価な時計でした。デザイン性が高く、メンズ、レディス共に都会的でスタイリッシュなモデルが多いラインです。現在では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。

COMMENT

This Omega watch from the 1970s exemplifies the space-inspired designs that were popular during that era. Following the Apollo 11 moon landing, space exploration became a cultural phenomenon, leading to the creation of numerous futuristic designs. This model is one such example, featuring a distinctive and unique aesthetic. It comes complete with the original bracelet, Ref. 5838/147.

The case shows minimal wear, with only slight signs of use, maintaining a clean and well-preserved appearance. The brushed finish on both the top and sides of the case remains in excellent condition, lending the watch a sharp, dignified look. The dial is in superb condition, with no tarnishing visible on the hands or indices, reflecting the watch's well-maintained state. The Geneve series was introduced in 1964 as an entry-level line among Omega’s prestigious collections, such as Constellation, De Ville, Speedmaster, and Seamaster. Despite being an entry-level model, the Geneve was far superior and more expensive than contemporary Japanese mechanical watches. Known for its high design quality, the series includes both men's and women's models that are urban and stylish. As this line is no longer in production, its unique charm can now only be experienced through vintage pieces.
