COMMENT

ref.5512は生産数の少なさを考慮すると、コレクション価値が高いモデルです。ref.5513の上位機種でクロノメータームーブメントcal.1570を搭載しています。ダイアル上、6時位置の4ラインのレターはそれを表しています。2.7mil（270万番代）のシリアルナンバーは1971年製で、フィートファーストのダイアルです。同年式の9315ブレスレットは巻きのダブルロックで、ダイビング用のエクステンションリンクPATETEDを有しています。

太いラグのケースでプロポーションが良いです。気になるような大きな傷はありません。裏蓋は5513とありますが、当時のロレックスは同系統の機種で裏蓋を共用していましたのでこれで問題ありません。竜頭はドットの無いツインロック、オリジナリティーが高いです。ダイアルはベージュ焼けしたトリチウムが素晴らしい状態で現存しています。針も同様です。ベゼルは太文字で若干ゴールドがかっており、抜群の状態と雰囲気の良さを保っています。

ワンランク上のサブマリーナーで希少性があり、コレクターの方にも満足していただける状態です。パーツを一つ一つ見て行って、どこをとっても非の打ち所がない個体です。

5512は5513の上位機種、ノンデイトクロノメーターサブマリーナーとして存在した。1978年に製造終了した。

Ref.5512 is a highly collectible model considering its low production numbers. It's an upgraded version of the ref.5513, featuring the chronometer movement cal.1570. The four lines of text at the 6 o'clock position on the dial signify this. With a serial number of 2.7 million (270,000 range), it was manufactured in 1971 and features a Feet First dial. The 9315 bracelet from the same year comes with a double-lock clasp and a diving extension link PATETED.

The case with thick lugs has excellent proportions, with no noticeable significant scratches. Although the case back says 5513, it's not an issue as Rolex used shared case backs for similar models at the time. The crown features a twin-lock without dots, adding to its uniqueness. The dial retains its superb condition with a beautiful beige patina on the tritium, as do the hands. The bezel, with slightly gold-toned bold fonts, maintains an outstanding condition and atmosphere.

This Submariner, a step up from the 5513, is rare and satisfying for collectors. Upon close inspection of each part, it stands out as flawless.

The 5512, as a non-date chronometer Submariner, existed as a superior model to the 5513 and was discontinued in 1978.
