ブラックミラーダイアルがグロッシーなシーマスターデビル。1963年にデビューしたデビルはワンピースケースの採用した、シーマスターからの派生モデルでした。シーマスターに比べると細くて繊細なバー状のラグは、先端で内側に向けて切り落とされ上品さをプラスしています。ケースの縁ギリギリまで文字盤面積が大きく、実際のサイズより時計が大きく見えます。インデックスやペンシルハンドの針は、細めで繊細な印象を受けます。アップライトのオメガロゴを除き、レターは全て下地出し。印字全てがメッキのような金属光沢を見せます。ブレスレットは、珍しい円柱が連なる五連の純正ブレスです。

ケースはオリジナルシェイプをよく残した、良好な状態です。傷が少なく、ラグの多面カットのエッジが効いています。ダイアルはミラーのツヤを強く残しています。特有のボソボソとしたエイジングが出ておらず、発売当初と同じテンションでお使いいただけます。針やインデックスはルーペで除くと浅くエイジングが確認できます。肉眼だと気にならないもので、鏡面が光をきらりと反射します。半球状のルミナスは、程よい焼けで現存しています。

Presenting the glossy Seamaster DeVille with a black mirror dial, debuted in 1963 as a derivative model from the Seamaster line, adopting a one-piece case design. In contrast to the Seamaster, the slim and delicate bar-shaped lugs, cut inward at the tips, add an elegance to its appearance. The dial surface extends almost to the edge of the case, creating an illusion of a larger watch than its actual size. The indexes and pencil hands are slender, providing a delicate impression. With the exception of the upright Omega logo, all lettering is done with an underlying technique, exhibiting a metallic luster similar to plating. The bracelet is a rare original five-link bracelet with connected cylindrical elements.

The case is in excellent condition, retaining the original shape well, with minimal scratches and sharp edges on the multiple-cut facets of the lugs. The dial preserves a strong gloss on the mirror, with no noticeable aging, allowing you to use it with the same vibrancy as its initial release. When inspected closely with a loupe, you may observe slight aging on the hands and indexes, but it's imperceptible to the naked eye, and the mirrored surface reflects light beautifully. The domed luminous material maintains a moderate patina.

The term "DE VILLE" translates to "at the city corner" in French, and fittingly, it exudes a metropolitan and casually sophisticated atmosphere ideal for daily wear. It strikes a balance, not leaning too heavily towards a dress watch, setting it apart from the Constellation series. It houses a durable and aesthetically pleasing Caliber 562 movement with red gold plating on the base plate. Calibers in the 550 series and onwards aimed to minimize inefficiencies, resulting in a sleek and refined mechanism. This design approach reduced constraints, enabling a more stylish face.
