最近では同じ名前のモデルもリリースされているティソのVISODATEをご紹介します。VISがデンマーク語で「見る」という意味なので、カレンダー付モデルのことを指すのでしょう。年式的にもカレンダー付の時計がリリースされ始めた頃に当たります。外観を、特に文字盤に様子をお伝えする際に、ブルズアイダイヤルの一種とご案内するのがわかりやすいところではありますが、少し違うのではないかという思いも過ります。よくよく観察するとブルズアイによくあるオールアラビアでなく飛びアラビア、その間隙にはくさび形のインデックスが配されており、これらは夜光ではなくゴールド色です。これらの特徴を備えた時計といえばタキシードダイヤルですね。違いといえば黒白の配置が逆なくらいです。ブルズアイとタキシードとのミッシング・リンクを埋める貴重な1本です。ダイヤルの状態は存外に良好で、ケースもまずまず。ムーブメントはこの時代のティソの定番、27系にカレンダー機能を付加したcal.27B-62となります。

Let me introduce the Tissot VISODATE, which has been recently released under the same name. "VIS" means "to see" in Danish, indicating a model with a calendar function. This aligns with the era when watches with calendars started to be released. While it's understandable to categorize it as a type of Bulls-eye dial, upon closer observation, there are some differences. Instead of the typical all Arabic numerals found in Bulls-eye dials, the VISODATE features "flying" Arabic numerals with wedge-shaped indices in between, all in gold rather than luminous material. This combination of features is reminiscent of a Tuxedo dial, with the main difference being the reversed black and white layout. It serves as a valuable piece bridging the gap between Bulls-eye and Tuxedo dials. The dial is surprisingly in good condition, and the case is decent as well. The movement is the classic for this era of Tissot, the cal.27B-62, which is based on the 27 series with an added calendar function.
