長年製造され、オメガを支えるコンステレーションには多くのバリエーションが存在します。中でも、コンステレーションらしい繊細かつ大胆なデザインがこちらのパイパンダイアル。文字盤外周を12面にカットした大胆なデザインです。立体的なダイヤルですので、時計の向きで影が繊細に動きます。インデックスは12.6.9にアラビアを採用した当モデルにしては珍しいデザイン。スポーティーな要素が感じられます。針はドルフィンで時刻を読み取りやすいです。金張りのブレスレットはビーズオブライス、Ref.1036とエンドリンク11を装備しています。

クロノメーターCal.561は、カレンダー早送り(21時⇔1時の間針を往復させる)が付く、5ポジション（五姿勢および温度調整）の機械であり、歴代の500系オートマチック・ムーブメントを改良して高評価を残した機械。日常的に使い易い時計です。メンテナンスに関しても当店でも自信を持ってお付き合いさせて頂けます。初めてアンティークウォッチをお使いの方にもおすすめです。

ケースは保管に伴う小傷のみで、元のプロポーションをよく残しています。ダイヤルは過去に入水の形跡が見られず、美しい質感です。最低限のエイジングこそ見られますが、製造から約60年の経年を感じさせません。針やインデックスは上面にくすみが見られず、立体感をより強調しています。ブレスレットは固定リンク6-9個で、発売当時のテーパーです。当店にて分解掃除済みで、パワーリザーブ48時間以上を確認しています。

当時のオメガは天文台クロノメーターコンクールと呼ばれる、精度を競う大会で輝かしい成績を残してきました。その功績を元に天文台をデザインに取り込んでいます。6時位置の星と裏蓋の天文台を模したメダリオンが高精度の象徴です。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

The Constellation, a cornerstone of Omega's legacy, has seen numerous variations over the years. Among them, the striking feature of this timepiece lies in its delicate yet bold design with a pie-pan dial. The dial's outer periphery is intricately cut into 12 facets, creating a dynamic and three-dimensional effect that subtly shifts shadows with the watch's orientation. Uncommon for this model, it adopts Arabic numerals at 12, 6, and 9, imparting a unique and sporty element. The dauphine hands contribute to easy time reading. The gold-plated bracelet is equipped with Beads of Rice, Ref.1036, and Endlink 11.

The Chronometer Cal.561 is a five-position (five positions and temperature adjustment) movement with a calendar quickset feature (alternatively moving the hands between 9 PM and 1 AM), an improved iteration of the previous 500 series automatic movements. Highly regarded for its precision, it offers practical daily use. We are confident in providing maintenance services, making it suitable even for those new to antique watches.

The case exhibits only minor scratches from storage, maintaining its original proportions well. The dial shows no signs of past water intrusion, displaying a beautiful texture. While minimal aging is evident, it belies its nearly 60 years of existence. The hands and indices show no discoloration on the surface, accentuating their three-dimensional quality. The bracelet, with fixed links ranging from 6 to 9, follows the taper design from its original release. Having undergone disassembly and cleaning in our shop, it has a confirmed power reserve of over 48 hours.

In its era, Omega achieved remarkable results in competitions like the Observatory Chronometer Contest, showcasing their dedication to precision. The medallion resembling a star at 6 o'clock and the observatory-inspired design on the case back serve as symbols of high accuracy.

The automatic efficiency of Omega's mechanisms from this era renders manual winding almost unnecessary. The original crown of the Constellation prioritizes design, and while manual winding may feel somewhat challenging, it aligns with the watch's original specifications and poses no issue.
