ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE Ref.1501 Big Logo

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Ref.1501, distinguished by its distinctive flat engine-turned bezel, exudes a strong sporty essence with a remarkable presence, despite its 34.5mm size that may defy expectations. The dial features a matte-textured white surface, adorned with dauphine hands and blue steel needles, creating a captivating combination. The indices, wedge-shaped and a large logo print, showcase the unique details characteristic of this model year. The distinctive engine-turned bezel adds a sporty touch.

Powered by the Cal.1560, this watch incorporates the "free-sprung" balance adjustment, utilizing the inertia moment of the balance wheel to regulate the timekeeping. It marks a significant movement in Rolex's history, being one of the first to eliminate the regulating index.

The case boasts well-proportioned dimensions, with the bezel's edge standing cleanly and beautifully. The dial exhibits minimal scratches or dirt, maintaining an overall pristine condition. Although white dials are prone to showing dirt, this one is in exceptional condition. The hands and indices sparkle without any noticeable plating loss, and the blue steel hands retain their rich and deep color. Having undergone disassembly and cleaning at our facility, this watch is in excellent condition.

While brimming with vintage design, the watch carries a sporty appeal that makes it approachable even for those accustomed to contemporary timepieces. The big logo dial with the must-have blue steel seconds hand is a treat. Given that replacements are common, the presence of the original hands is highly commendable. Immerse yourself in the impactful big logo.
