Cal.135搭載のゼニス。135搭載機では数少ない、18金無垢ケースを採用しています。ダイヤルは電着塗装のホワイト。外周からミニッツ、12.3.9のアラビアと多面カットのクサビインデックスが並びます。針は幅細のドルフィン。竜頭はゼニス純正、裏側にPATENTの刻印が入った珍しいものを装備しています。バネ棒は内くいつき式です。

搭載Cal.135は1949年から1961年の間に約11000個生産されたムーブメント。初期は金メッキ仕上げですが、後期はコートドジュネーブ仕上げに代わる為、こちらは1950年代後期の製品となります。クロノメーター規格である30mm径以下の制約で、精度を司るテン輪を大きくするために、通常とは歯車の配置をも変えた特別なムーブメント。史上最高の手巻き機械との呼び声も高い。

ケースは傷の少ない、素晴らしいプロポーションをしています。抉れるようなラグのエッジ、ケースバックの繊細なヘアライン仕上げが残っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。過去に入水の形跡が見られず、質感を当時のままに残しています。針とインデックスも同様で、上面にくすみが見られず、光を反射しています。ここまでコンディションの良い個体は稀有です。弊社にて分解掃除済みですので、ご購入後すぐお使いいただけます。

This Zenith timepiece is equipped with the Cal.135 movement, a rarity among Cal.135-equipped watches, as it features an 18-carat solid gold case. The dial is painted in white with electroplating. Around the outer periphery, minute markers, Arabic numerals at 12, 3, and 9 o'clock, and multi-faceted wedge indices are arranged. The hands are slim dauphine. The crown is Zenith genuine, featuring a rare stamp of PATENT on the underside. The spring bars are of the internal type.

The Cal.135 movement installed here was produced approximately 11,000 times between 1949 and 1961. Initially, it had a gold-plated finish, but later versions featured a Côtes de Genève finish, making this one from the late 1950s. Constrained by the 30mm diameter criteria for chronometer standards, this movement is specially designed, even altering the gear layout to accommodate a larger balance wheel for enhanced accuracy. It's highly regarded as one of the finest manual-winding movements in history.

The case exhibits few scratches and boasts a fantastic proportion. The lug edges are sharp, and the delicate hairline finish on the case back is well preserved. The dial is in mint condition, showing no signs of past water damage and retaining its original texture. Similarly, the hands and indices show no tarnishing on the surface, reflecting light crisply. Finding specimens in such pristine condition is exceptionally rare. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company, ready for immediate use upon purchase.
