1961年製のオイスターパーペチュアルデイト。ダイヤルはマットな質感のホワイトで、ドルフィンハンドとブルースチールの針のコンビネーションがよく映えます。インデックスはくさび型インデックス、大きいロゴプリントとこの年式ならではのディテールがふんだんに詰め込まれています。

搭載Cal.1560は、テンワの慣性モーメントを調整することで、時計の進み遅れを調整する「フリースプラング」を採用しています。ロレックスで緩急針を初めて取り除いたクロノメータームーブメントで大変定評のある機械です。

ケースは痩せが少なく、ベゼルのエッジが綺麗に立っています。ダイヤルは傷や汚れが少なく、概ね綺麗な状態を維持しています。厳密に判断しますと、キワ部分に少々のエイジングが確認できますが、汚れが目立ちやすいホワイトダイアルであることを考慮しますと素晴らしいコンディションです。針やインデックスは、メッキの剥がれがなく、きらりと輝きます。ブルースチールの針は、色抜けが一切なく深みのある色を維持しています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This is a 1961 Oyster Perpetual Date, boasting a white dial with a matte texture, beautifully complemented by dauphine hands and blue steel hour markers. It features wedge-shaped indices, a large printed logo, and details unique to this vintage.

The Cal.1560 movement adopts the "free-sprung" balance mechanism, adjusting the inertia moment of the balance wheel to regulate the watch's timing. It's a highly esteemed movement known for being the first chronometer movement in Rolex to eliminate the need for a regulating index.

The case shows minimal signs of wear, with the bezel edges remaining sharp. The dial exhibits few scratches or blemishes, maintaining its overall cleanliness. While minor aging can be observed at the edges upon close inspection, considering the susceptibility of white dials to show dirt, it remains in remarkable condition. The hands and indices shine without any plating loss, while the blue steel hands retain their rich color without fading. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our experts.

Despite its vintage design, it's user-friendly even for those accustomed to modern Rolex models, thanks to its sporty appeal. The prominent logo dial with the blue steel seconds hand is a highlight.
