It's a well-balanced timepiece.. The dial features a vertical hairline finish rather than the typical sunburst finish, which enhances its classical atmosphere. The applied bar indexes have faceted shapes resembling mountains, sparkling and adding a significant presence with every movement. The case is perfectly circular with robust three-cut lugs, and it features a fish-shaped crown, adding to its uniqueness. An authentic IWC mesh bracelet is included.

It is equipped with the efficient Pellaton automatic winding movement, Cal.854B, which responds swiftly to even the slightest motion, winding up efficiently. The Pellaton system movement is highly regarded even today and is still used in current models.
