堂々たる表情のコンステレーション。シルバーダイヤルは12角のパイパンで、内側はサンレイ、外側は同心円のヘアラインを施したツートンダイアルとなっています。時分針はドルフィン。針は全て専用で短く、パイパンの内側に沿ってランニングします。バーインデックスは台形のファセットが美しくオメガの上位機種らしい意匠です。ケースはステンレスに厚く金を被せたゴールドトップです。

クロノメーターCal.561は、カレンダー早送り(21時⇔1時の間針を往復させる)が付く、5ポジション（五姿勢および温度調整）の機械であり、歴代の500系オートマチック・ムーブメントを改良して高評価を残した機械。日常的に使い易い時計です。

ダイヤルは焼けの少ないパリッとした表情で好感の持てるコンディションです。当時のままの艶めきを見せており、高級感が感じられます。針やインデックス、アプライドのΩロゴは鏡面仕上げに剥がれがなく、メッキの反射が瑞々しい印象です。ケースはプロポーションがよく、ベゼルの段にエッジを残しています。60年代の雰囲気をリアルに楽しめる一品です。 

星座を意味するコンステレーションは、オメガの最高精度と自動巻を両立させた珠玉のモデルです。 クオーツ時計開発以前の「精度こそ絶対的な価値」とされた時代に生まれた最高峰の時計です。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

The Constellation boasts a distinguished appearance with its twelve-sided pie-pan silver dial. The inner section features a sunray finish, while the outer section has concentric hairline circles, creating a striking two-tone dial. The hour and minute hands are dauphine-shaped and specially shortened to run along the inner side of the pie-pan. The trapezoidal faceted bar indexes exemplify the refined design of Omega's higher-end models. The case is stainless steel with a thick gold cap, enhancing its luxurious feel.

The chronometer Cal.561, with its quick-set calendar function (by reversing the hands between 9 PM and 1 AM), is fine-tuned for five positions and temperature adjustments. This movement, an improvement on the 500 series automatic movements, is highly regarded for its reliability and precision, making it suitable for daily use.

The dial is in excellent condition, retaining a crisp and desirable appearance with minimal patina. It maintains its original luster, exuding luxury. The hands, indexes, and applied Omega logo are all mirror-finished without any peeling, reflecting light with a fresh, vivid quality. The case has excellent proportions, preserving the edges of the bezel's tiers. This piece authentically captures the 1960s vibe.
