ダイバーは勿論のこと、軍人や冒険家など多岐にわたるプロフェッショナルに選ばれた、レジェンドモデルです。左右非対称のフォルムが特徴で、竜頭をガードするためにその部分が膨らんだデザインになっています。竜頭には簡易ロックがついています。こちらは希少な最初期の「Proof / Proof」モデルです。ダイヤルとケースバックの防水表記がどちらも「RESIST」ではなく「PROOF」を採用していることから、この名称で呼ばれています。また、秒針は通常より長く、分針と同じ長さであることも特徴です。製造期間がわずか2ヶ月と言われており、針、ダイヤル、ケースバックの全てがマイナーチェンジしてしまうため、非常に希少で人気のあるモデルとなっています。

傷がつきやすいベゼルの状態が良いこと、ケースのエッジ、文字盤の夜光が黒くないこと、この3つのポイントがこの時計の価値を高めています。夜光塗料の色味が良く、素晴らしいコンディションです。ここまで状態の良いProof / Proofは非常に珍しいです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ムーブメントは6105Aにハック機能を付加した6105Bキャリバーを搭載しています。ダイバーズウォッチですので水気には強い時計ですが、竜頭が当時のオリジナルのため、防水性はないとお考えいただいた上でご使用ください。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

This legendary model was chosen not only by divers but also by professionals such as military personnel and adventurers. It is characterized by its asymmetrical shape, with a bulge designed to protect the crown. The crown features a simple locking mechanism. This is a rare, early "Proof / Proof" model, named for the "PROOF" designation on both the dial and the case back, rather than the later "RESIST" marking. Another distinctive feature is the unusually long second hand, which matches the length of the minute hand. Produced for only about two months, this model is highly coveted due to minor changes made to the hands, dial, and case back in later iterations.

The excellent condition of the bezel, the sharpness of the case edges, and the pristine lume on the dial (which has not darkened) significantly increase the value of this watch. The luminous material has aged beautifully, and the overall condition is exceptional, making it extremely rare to find a Proof / Proof in such good shape. It has been fully serviced by our team.

The watch is powered by the caliber 6105B movement, which is an upgraded version of the 6105A with the addition of a hacking function. While this diver’s watch is robust and resistant to moisture, it still retains the original crown, and therefore we recommend using it without assuming it has full water resistance.
