Ref.145.022-69の18金無垢モデル。1969年に成功したアポロ11号の月面着陸を記念して、同年に1014本限定で製造されました。ダイヤルは金無垢で、6時位置にOM（Or Massif）表記がなされています。褐色がかった赤いDONベゼルを採用。短く幅広のインデックスは、金色の縁取りにブラックプリントを施しています。針も同じく黒で統一されています。このダイヤルには夜光塗料は使用されていません。Ref.145.022では通常見られない、アプライドのΩロゴを採用しています。ブレスレットも18金無垢のRef.1116/575、バックルのストライプ仕上げとテーパーリンクが美しいです。アーカイブが付属します。

ケースは最低限の小傷で、オリジナルプロポーションが残っており大変高評価です。ツイストラグの複雑なエッジが立っております。スピードマスターによく見られるベゼルの剥げはわずかなもので、ここまでのコンディションで残っている個体は数が少なく希少です。ゴールドダイアルに目立った傷は見られません。光にかざすと表れるステップダイアルの陰影を最大限に楽しめます。レターや針のブラックのプリントは色味がよく残っています。弊社にて分解掃除後、パワーリザーブは48時間以上を確認しております。当時のムーンウォッチをパワフルにお使いいただけます。

This is an 18-carat solid gold model of Ref.145.022-69. It was produced in a limited run of 1,014 pieces in 1969 to commemorate the successful Apollo 11 moon landing that same year. The dial is solid gold, with 'OM' (Or Massif) marked at the 6 o'clock position. It features a reddish-brown DON bezel. The short, broad indices have gold borders with black printing. The hands are also uniformly black. This dial does not use any luminous paint. Unusually for a Ref.145.022, it sports an applied Ω logo. The bracelet is also solid 18-carat gold, Ref.1116/575, with a beautifully striped finish on the clasp and tapered links. It comes with archive papers.

The case has minimal scratches and retains its original proportions, which is highly commendable. The complex edges of the twisted lugs are still sharp. The bezel shows only slight wear, which is common in Speedmasters; specimens in this condition are rare. There are no noticeable scratches on the gold dial. You can fully appreciate the shadowing of the step dial when held up to the light. The black printing on the lettering and hands has retained its colour well. While nowadays the equation 'Speedmaster equals space' immediately springs to mind, it was originally born as a pure motorsport watch, entirely unrelated to space exploration. The Speedmaster is also said to be the world's first watch to display a tachymeter on the outer bezel rather than on the dial. In 1959, the Speedmaster underwent minor changes. The bezel became black aluminium, and the hands changed from arrow-shaped to alpha-shaped, improving legibility. NASA was searching for a robust chronograph that could withstand the harsh environment of space, and the Speedmaster beat out stiff competition to become the official timepiece. Its famous moment came later in 1969 when it was worn during mankind's first moon landing.
