中央が緩やかに隆起したボンベダイヤルを備え、やわらかな乳白色のカラーリングが上品な佇まいを演出しています。特徴的なのは、いわゆる＜寄り目＞と呼ばれるデイト表示で、カレンダーディスクが内側に寄せられた独特のデザイン。このケースにこのダイヤルが組み合わさる例は少なく、希少性のある構成です。インデックスは手作業で植字された砲弾型で、ドルフィンハンドとの組み合わせはインターらしいクラシカルな雰囲気を醸し出しています。外周にさりげなく配されたパールドットが、高級感をいっそう引き立てています。

The gently domed “bombé” dial is finished in a soft, milky white tone that gives the watch a refined and understated elegance. One of its most distinctive features is the so-called “cross-eye” date display—a design in which the date aperture is positioned unusually close to the centre. This dial–case combination is seldom seen, making it a notably uncommon configuration. The hand-applied bullet indexes pair beautifully with the dauphine hands, creating a classically IWC expression, while the subtle pearl dots along the minute track add a further sense of refinement.

Dress watches demand especially meticulous scrutiny, and this example stands out with exceptional condition throughout. The white dial is in mint condition, a rarity for pieces of this age. The hands and indexes show no loss of plating, retaining a crisp and clean appearance. The case has sharp lugs and, aside from minor natural wear, shows no significant damage.
