This particular reference represents the later evolution of the model, featuring a transition from acrylic to sapphire crystal and housing the next-generation Calibre 1011 movement, known for its precision and reliability. The vivid blue dial, introduced at a time when color dials were still a daring innovation, reflects the bold and forward-looking spirit of the era.
