ロレックスの手巻きデイトモデル、Ref.6694です。ブラックミラーダイヤルが収められ、ダイヤル上のレターやミニッツトラックには全て下地出しが採用されています。バーインデックスやクラシックなペンシルハンドは、シルバーカラーで渋さを引き立たせています。この世代のRef.6694はゴールドインデックスが多く見られるため、シルバーインデックスの個体は希少です。6時と9時位置には多面カットのクサビ型インデックス、その他の位置にはバーインデックスが配されています。フラットな王冠ロゴも、このモデルのクラシックな美しさを際立たせています。

ケースは太く力強いラグが特徴で、細かな使用傷があるものの、全体のプロポーションは非常に良好で、貫禄のある外観を保っています。特筆すべきはブラックギルトダイヤルで、しっとりとした美しい艶感が残っており、ヴィンテージらしいエイジングも程よく味わい深い雰囲気を醸し出しています。インデックスや針のコンディションも非常に良く、ヴィンテージ特有のヤレた感じはほとんど見られません。

COMMENT

The Rolex Oysterdate Ref.6694 is a hand-wound date model fitted with a striking black mirror dial. The dial features gilt-engraved lettering and a minute track, while the silver bar indexes and classic pencil hands add a refined contrast. Most examples of this reference are found with gold indexes, making this silver configuration particularly rare. At 6 and 9 o’clock, faceted wedge-shaped indexes are used, while bar indexes mark the remaining positions. The flat crown logo further accentuates the understated elegance of this model.

The case is defined by its thick, robust lugs, showing only minor signs of wear while retaining its strong proportions and presence. Most noteworthy is the black gilt dial, which preserves its deep, lustrous sheen, enriched by a subtle vintage patina that enhances its character. The hands and indexes remain in excellent condition, with little evidence of the wear typically associated with vintage watches.
