PIAGET Ref.9434 Bark Case & Dial MINT CONDITION

COMMENT

COMMENT

This piece features a cushion-shaped case crafted in solid 18K white gold, with a softly rounded bark finish applied to the outer surface. The textured engraving creates gentle shadows, contrasted by the polished bezel that adds visual depth. The dial harmonizes with the sculptural character of the case, composed simply of Roman numerals, logo, and two hands. By eliminating excess ornamentation, the beauty of the material and form itself comes to the forefront.

The case retains clear hallmarks and well-defined edges, preserving its original contours. A one-owner example, it is accompanied by the original strap and white gold Piaget buckle. The strap shows no signs of wear, reflecting careful storage over the years. The dial remains in beautiful condition. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Piaget has long unified haute joaillerie and watchmaking at the highest level. This model encapsulates the maison’s aesthetic and technical philosophy of the 1970s. Through rigorous minimalism, the texture and refinement of white gold are allowed to speak with clarity. Slim and comfortable on the wrist, yet carrying the reassuring weight unique to precious metal, it embodies Piaget’s distinctive world—worn as much like a piece of jewelry as a timepiece.
