上下左右で仕上げの異なるツートン構成が印象的なダイヤルは、4分割されたマットホワイトとシルバーにより構成された凝った意匠です。インデックスは楔形を基調とし、3・9・12時位置に1950年代特有の角張ったアラビア数字を採用。ドーフィン針はわずかに丸みを帯び、中央およびインデックス外周に夜光を配することで高い視認性を確保しています。ラグとケースが一体化した滑らかなフォルムのケースは、六つ爪のスクリューバック構造を採用し、防水性能を追求し始めた時代のロンジンらしい設計思想が息づいています。

ケースは傷の少ないグッドコンディションで、丸みを帯びた側面が美しく整っています。打痕や目立つ傷はなく、全体に上品な印象を保っています。ダイヤルはエイジングによりわずかにトーンが落ち着き、落ち着いた趣を感じさせます。針は穏やかな経年変化を見せつつ美しい状態を維持。インデックスはわずかなくすみが見られるものの、鏡面の艶がしっかりと残っています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

The dial features a distinctive two-tone layout composed of contrasting surface finishes: the segments from 12 to 3 o’clock and 6 to 9 o’clock are rendered in matte white, while the remaining areas are finished in a silver tone. The hour markers are primarily wedge-shaped, with angular Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock—an aesthetic characteristic of the 1950s. The slightly rounded dauphine hands, together with luminous accents applied to both the hands and the perimeter of the indexes, ensure excellent legibility. The case, with its smooth integrated-lug silhouette, employs a six-notch screw-back construction—an early expression of Longines’ pursuit of improved water resistance.

The case remains in good condition overall, with minimal wear and well-preserved contours along the rounded sides. There are no noticeable dents or deep scratches, giving the watch an elegant overall impression. The dial shows a subtle, even patina that enhances its vintage character.
