セイコーダイバーの中で3世代目となるモデルの、REF.6306-7001。1976年から1979年までに作られたと言われています。海外向けの6309と違い、ハック機能の付いた6306Aを搭載しています。曜日の表記は漢字/英語を選ぶことができます。

ダイアルコンディションがとても良く、プリントの色味が抜けず綺麗に残っています。裏蓋のシリアルの刻印は深く大変良好です。手巻が付いていない自動巻きムーブメントで、巻上げ機能が肝心です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

BRAND

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

The Seiko diver’s watch you have is the third-generation model, reference 6306-7001, which is said to have been produced between 1976 and 1979.Unlike the 6309 model for the international market, it is equipped with the 6306A movement, which includes a hacking function. The day display can be set to either Kanji or English.

The dial is in excellent condition, with the print colours remaining vibrant and intact. The serial engraving on the case back is deep and in very good condition. As an automatic movement without manual winding, the winding mechanism is crucial. Post-overhaul tests have confirmed that it runs for over a day and a half, so you can use it with confidence.

BRAND

The 1960s was a period of significant development for mechanical wristwatches, reaching a level of near perfection. Seiko advanced in both accuracy competitions and mass production, catching up with and surpassing global standards. At the same time, the "electronification of watches" progressed, and in December 1969, Seiko launched the world's first quartz wristwatch, marking a major shift from mechanical to quartz watches.
