Air-Kingに日付表示を加えた、オイスターパーペチュアル Ref.5700です。秒針はブルースチール製で、インデックスはくさび形を採用しています。一部の年代にしか見られない「SUPER PRECISION」表記が備わっています。ブレスレットにはリベットオイスターブレスレット、エンドリンク60、クラスプデイト60/4が装備されています。

ケースには細かな使用痕が見られますが、ラグの厚みやケース全体のプロポーションが保たれ、オイスターブレスレットとの一体感も良好です。文字盤は落ち着いた色調を保ち、針やインデックスはインデックスが美しく映えています。レタープリントは整っており、経年を重ねたヴィンテージらしい雰囲気と、日常使いに適した端正な表情を楽しめます。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

This classic white dial features a combination of design elements characteristic of pre-1960s Rolex models. The watch is fitted with elegant alpha hands and a blued steel seconds hand, finished with a teardrop counterweight. The hour markers are applied wedge indices, with the 6 and 9 o'clock markers adopting a distinctive overlapping "V" shape. At 12 o'clock, the applied Rolex coronet sits above the rare "Super Precision" script—an inscription found only on select models from a specific period. Completing the vintage look is a riveted Oyster bracelet (Ref.7205) paired with 60 end links and a 67/3 clasp date stamp.

The dial has aged gracefully, developing a warm tone with a charming speckled patina across the surface. The hands show minor signs of aging but retain their brightness. The blued steel seconds hand shows slight oxidation, though not detracting from its overall aesthetic. The mirror-polished indices maintain their luster, and the luminous material applied to both hands and indices has aged into a soft beige, enhancing the watch’s vintage character. Reference 5700 is the rare date-equipped variant of the Air-King Ref.5500. Production of the date Air-King ceased around 1988, making these examples particularly scarce today. Since most surviving Air-Kings are no-date versions, the date models are highly sought after by collectors.
