ケースはスーパーコンプレッサーなど、防水性に優れたケースを開発していたEPSA（Ervin Piquerez SA）製で、裏蓋にはダイビングベルをデフォルメした刻印が見られます。例に倣い、本個体もラウンドプッシャーとスクリューバックを備え、防水性を意識した仕様です。ケースバックはダブルステップで、スピードマスターでは-65以前のケースに見られるディテール。ダイヤルはサンバースト仕上げ。精緻な文字盤にはアプライドのバーインデックスが輝き、視認性も良好です。ブレスレットは日本でキャタピラーとも称されるフラットリンクで、Ref.1035、エンドリンク630、クラスプデイト68/1を装備しています。ムーブメントはCal.321を搭載し、レマニア由来の傑作機ならではの滑らかな操作感と、機械としての密度を備えています。

ケースは小傷がわずかな程度で、ラグの小さな面が残っており、ベゼルはエッジが立っています。ダイヤルはルーペで確認するとごくわずかな粒状の経年変化が見られますが、肉眼ではほとんど気になりません。時分針やインデックス、アプライドのΩロゴにメッキの剥がれは見られず、全体として清潔感のあるコンディションです。貴重なキャタピラブレスは伸びが少なく、状態の良さが際立ちます。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。パワーリザーブは48時間以上を計測しました。

The case was manufactured by EPSA (Ervin Piquerez SA), renowned for developing highly water-resistant cases such as the Super Compressor. The case back bears a stylized diving bell engraving, a signature detail of EPSA production. Following this design philosophy, the present watch is equipped with round pushers and a screw-back case, emphasizing water resistance. The case back features a double-step construction, a detail also seen on pre-1965 Speedmaster cases. The dial is finished in a sunburst pattern, and the finely executed surface is accented by applied bar indexes that catch the light beautifully, ensuring excellent legibility. The bracelet is the flat-link type often referred to in Japan as the “caterpillar” bracelet, fitted with Ref. 1035 links, 630 end links, and a clasp dated 68/1. Powering the watch is the Cal. 321 movement, a Lemania-derived masterpiece celebrated for its smooth operation and remarkable mechanical density.

The case shows only minor surface marks, with the small chamfered facets on the lugs still intact and the bezel retaining crisp edges. Under loupe inspection, the dial reveals only very slight granular aging, which is virtually imperceptible to the naked eye. The hour and minute hands, indexes, and applied Omega logo show no signs of plating loss, resulting in a clean and well-preserved overall appearance. The highly desirable flat-link bracelet exhibits minimal stretch, further highlighting the excellent condition of this example. Fully serviced by our watchmaker, with a measured power reserve exceeding 48 hours.

The Seamaster chronograph powered by Cal. 321 is closely related to the Speedmaster lineage, yet presented in a more refined and dress-oriented manner.
