OMEGA Seamaster 600 Ref.136.011 EPSA Case

COMMENT

COMMENT

The OMEGA Seamaster 600 Ref. 135.011 presents a minimalist expression, pairing a refined silver dial with bar indexes in a clean date configuration. Radial sunburst finishing softly reflects the light, while black accents on the hands and indexes sharpen the overall outline. The case was manufactured by EPSA, a maker known for producing highly water-resistant constructions, and features a screw-back design that underscores its practicality. Without luminous material, the dial maintains a clear and well-balanced appearance. It is powered by the hand-wound Cal. 611.

The case retains well-defined lines, with surface textures preserved attractively across its planes. The dial maintains a fresh and orderly impression, with no noticeable elements that compromise the clarity of the printing or design. The hands and indexes convey a composed presence, and there are no aspects that disturb the overall harmony. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The Seamaster 600 is regarded as a series that prioritized functional completeness as an everyday instrument, without reliance on excessive ornamentation. Ref. 135.011 expresses this philosophy directly, combining the slim profile of a manual-wind movement with the robust case-making of EPSA. The absence of luminous material results in a dial that ages gently over time, allowing its character to mature gradually. Within its restrained design, the quality standards and thoughtful engineering of the period are conveyed with quiet clarity.
