COMMENT

50年代らしいクラシカルなケースに収められたオメガです。ホワイトダイヤルには、丸みを帯びた独特のクサビ形インデックスと、3・9・12時位置にアプライドのアラビア数字を配置しています。外周にはミニッツマーカーを備え、視認性を高めています。6時位置のスモールセコンドは一段落ちし、レコード盤のような溝を刻んだ造形がアクセントとなっています。ムーブメントはランチェロにも採用されたインカブロック耐震装置付きのCal.267を搭載し、防水・耐震技術がスポーツモデル以外にも波及し始めた時代の空気を感じ取れる構成です。当時のレザーストラップ、バックル、ボックスが付属します。

ケースは全体に傷の少ない良好なコンディションで、ラグや側面に軽微な使用傷こそありますが、大きな打痕などは見られません。ダイヤルは傷やくすみ、入水跡の類が一切なく、美しい状態を維持しています。針は鏡面の輝きを保ち、くすみや傷のない整った状態です。インデックスも良好で、ファセットが光を受けて美しく反射します。ロゴの仕上げも鮮明です。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

This Omega features a classically styled case characteristic of the 1950s. The white dial is set with uniquely rounded wedge-shaped indexes, complemented by applied Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock. A minute track along the outer perimeter enhances legibility, while the recessed small seconds at 6 o’clock—with its record-groove texture—adds a subtle visual accent. Inside is the Cal.267, equipped with an Incabloc shock-protection system and also known from the Ranchero. It reflects a period when water-resistance and shock-resistance technologies were beginning to appear in models beyond dedicated sports watches. The watch comes with its period leather strap, buckle, and box.

The case is in excellent overall condition with minimal wear; light surface marks are present on the lugs and flanks, but no notable dents or damage. The dial is exceptionally well preserved, free from scratches, tarnish, or moisture marks. The hands retain a mirror-like shine, showing no oxidation or wear, and the indexes also remain crisp, with their faceted surfaces reflecting light beautifully. The applied logo is sharp and well defined. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

This is a rare configuration combining an 18K solid gold case with a 30 mm caliber, further elevated by the inclusion of its original box, strap, and buckle. The near-perfect dial condition and completeness of accessories make it a highly valuable piece for collectors.
