ケースは真円のクラシックな造形に、端正なバーラグを組み合わせたシンプルなデザインで、控えめながら確かな存在感を備えています。堅牢なスクリューバックを備え、ケースにはほどよい厚みがあるため、どっしりとした計器のような印象も魅力です。ダイヤルは電着塗装によるパールホワイト。1960年代に入ると、ユリス・ナルダンはブランドの象徴であるイカリマークをダイヤルとケースバックに取り入れており、本作にもその意匠が確認できます。幅の狭いバーインデックスと夜光を用いないペンシルハンドの組み合わせが、ミニマルで洗練された表情を整えています。

COMMENT

A classic round case paired with refined bar lugs gives this piece a clean, understated presence with a quiet but confident character. The sturdy screw-back case provides reassuring solidity, and the moderate thickness lends a pleasing, instrument-like weight on the wrist. The dial is a pearl-white electroplated finish. From the 1960s onward, Ulysse Nardin incorporated its signature anchor emblem on both the dial and caseback, and this example clearly reflects that era. Narrow bar indexes and non-luminous pencil hands create a minimal, well-balanced aesthetic.

The case retains its original brushed and polished surfaces with crisp, well-defined edges. The dial remains exceptionally clean, and the absence of luminous material has helped preserve it with minimal aging. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

As an uncommon no-date automatic from this period, the watch offers both practicality and rarity. During the 1960s, many brands shifted heavily toward producing date-equipped models, which were considered the modern, practical choice of the era. No-date versions were consequently produced in far smaller numbers, making surviving examples scarce today.
