LONGINES Bullseye Dial Sei-Tacche Case

COMMENT

COMMENT

The standout feature of this Longines watch is its white and black bullseye dial. The luminous Arabic numerals enhance its vintage charm, complementing the overall aesthetic. The small seconds subdial, set slightly lower with fine record-like grooves, highlights the meticulous craftsmanship. The 36mm jumbo case has a seamless integration with the lugs, resulting in a smooth and unified design. The long lugs retain a slight edge at the base, while the screw-down case back features a "sei-tacche" mushroom design with six notches and a stepped, raised profile, showcasing Longines' legacy of producing durable, water-resistant timepieces.

The case is in outstanding condition, as close to perfect as one could hope for. The long lugs, characteristic of the sei-tacche case, maintain their original sharpness. The crown, prone to wear, is also in excellent shape. The dial's black-and-white contrast remains vivid, in mint condition—a rarity for a watch of this era. The luminous sections exhibit a beautiful beige patina, adding character to the watch. This piece is truly top-tier in all respects, and it has undergone a complete overhaul at our workshop.

This Longines jumbo sei-tacche case is a highly sought-after model among vintage Longines collectors. Finding one in such pristine condition is a rarity. The craftsmanship reflects the technical prowess of Longines, one of the top manufacturers of its time. It's a must-see for any Longines enthusiast.
