COMMENT

A well-executed Omega from the height of the mechanical era, this example dates from the brand’s mature pre-quartz period and offers proportions that remain easy to wear today. Its balanced thickness and case size sit comfortably on a wide range of wrists. The hands and indexes feature black central inlays in the onyx style, giving the dial excellent legibility and a crisp appearance. It is fitted with a beads-of-rice bracelet, Ref.1036, with 511 end links.

The case shows minor scratches from use but retains its overall shape and remains in good condition. The case back is free from chips and is also well preserved. Aging to the dial is minimal, while the hands and indexes show no noticeable tarnishing and reflect the light clearly. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The gently curved dial and dauphine hands lend the watch a distinctly vintage character while remaining practical for everyday wear. Its period appearance is complemented by the dependable construction associated with this mature generation of mechanical movements.
