セイコー スピードタイマー6139シリーズは、世界で初めて製品化された自動巻クロノグラフのひとつです。Ref.6139-8010は、ステンレススチールケースにブラックのPVDコーティングを施したモデル。PVDは金属表面に薄膜を形成する処理技術で、膜の材質や構成により耐摩耗性や耐食性などの向上が図られます。サンレイ仕上げのゴールドダイヤルには、外周のブラックラインと、30分積算計の15分までを彩るオレンジが映えます。3時位置にはデイデイト表示を備えています。

ケースには経年に伴う軽微な擦れやコーティングの摩耗が見られますが、ブラックの質感と輪郭を良好に保っています。ゴールドダイヤルは色調が整い、インデックスや針、デイデイト表示もきれいな状態です。製造から年月を経たヴィンテージウォッチとして、全体のまとまりを感じさせるコンディションです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The Seiko Speed-Timer 6139 series was among the first automatic chronographs to enter production. Ref. 6139-8010 features a stainless steel case with a black PVD coating. PVD is a surface-treatment process that deposits a thin film onto metal and, depending on the material and composition used, can improve properties such as wear and corrosion resistance. The gold sunburst dial is accented by a black outer track and orange markings extending through the first 15 minutes of the 30-minute register. A day-date display is positioned at 3 o’clock.

The case shows light surface wear and some loss to the coating consistent with age, while retaining its black finish and clearly defined form. The gold dial maintains an even tone, and the indexes, hands, and day-date display remain in good condition. Overall, the watch presents well for a vintage example of its age. Introduced in 1969, the Cal. 6139 is an automatic chronograph movement incorporating a column wheel and vertical clutch. It brought a technically advanced approach to chronograph operation at the time.
