セイコーダイバー第3世代にあたるRef.6306-7001は、1976年から1979年まで製造されたモデルです。海外向けのRef.6309と異なり、ハック機能を備えたCal.6306Aを搭載し、秒針規制による精密な時刻合わせが可能です。さらに曜日表示は漢字と英語の切替式で、日本国内向けらしい特色を備えています。

ケースは傷が少なく、力強いラインを保った良好な状態です。ベゼルは退色の痕跡がなく、ブラックの深みをしっかりと残しています。ダイヤルは色味の変化が見られず、ミントコンディションを維持しております。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

COMMENT

The Seiko Ref.6306-7001, part of the brand’s third-generation diver series, was produced between 1976 and 1979. Unlike the export-model Ref.6309, it houses the Cal.6306A with hacking seconds, allowing precise time-setting. The day display is bilingual—switchable between Kanji and English—highlighting its domestic-market character.

The case remains in excellent condition with sharp, powerful lines and minimal wear. The dial has retained its original tone with no signs of aging, presenting in mint condition. The bezel shows no fading and preserves a deep, rich black. Serviced and cleaned by our watchmakers.

Within the lineage of Seiko divers, the Ref.6306-7001 stands out for its distinctly domestic specifications. It delivers strong appeal both as a practical tool watch and as a collectible. BRAND

The 1960s was a period of significant development for mechanical wristwatches, reaching a level of near perfection. Seiko advanced in both accuracy competitions and mass production, catching up with and surpassing global standards. At the same time, the "electronification of watches" progressed, and in December 1969, Seiko launched the world's first quartz wristwatch, marking a major shift from mechanical to quartz watches.
