HEUER Calculator Ref.110.633Mは、1970年代のホイヤーを象徴する大型自動巻クロノグラフです。モデル名の通り、外周に大径の計算尺ベゼルを備えた実用色の強い一本で、ダイヤル側の情報量を抑えながら、機能性を外装全体で表現したデザインです。マットブラックのダイヤルに、ネオンオレンジの針とアクセントカラーを組み合わせた配色は、当時のスポーツクロノグラフらしい個性を感じさせます。ムーブメントは、Cal.11を改良した自動巻クロノグラフCal.12を搭載。希少な当時のオリジナルブレスレットを装備しています。

ダイヤルは非常に良好なコンディションで、目立つ傷やシミは見られません。オレンジカラーの針は発色が鮮やかで、針とインデックスの夜光塗料は淡いベージュカラーに均一に変化しています。ケースは使用に伴う小傷がわずかに見られますが、エッジはしっかりと残り、ケース上面のヘアラインを美しく確認できます。計算尺ベゼルは外周のコインエッジとプリントが良好に残り、このモデルらしい迫力を十分に保っています。ブレスレットも時計全体の雰囲気に合った良い状態です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Cal.12はリューズを左側に配置した自動巻クロノグラフで、着用時にリューズが手の甲に当たりにくい構造です。右インダイヤルが30分積算計、左インダイヤルが12時間積算計、センターに時分針とクロノグラフ秒針を備えた構成で、永久秒針は備わりません。6時位置の日付は、夜12時をまたいで針を往復させることで簡易的な早送りが可能です。大型ケース、計算尺ベゼル、鮮やかなオレンジの配色が組み合わさった、1970年代ホイヤーの魅力を明確に楽しめる一本です。

COMMENT

The HEUER Calculator Ref.110.633M is a large automatic chronograph that strongly reflects Heuer’s design approach of the 1970s. As its name suggests, the model is fitted with an oversized slide-rule bezel, giving it a highly functional character. While the dial itself remains relatively restrained, the watch expresses its utility through the overall case and bezel design. The matte black dial is paired with neon orange hands and accents, creating the distinctive look of a 1970s sports chronograph. It is powered by the Cal.12, an automatic chronograph movement developed from the Cal.11, and is fitted with a rare original bracelet from the period.

The dial is in excellent condition, with no noticeable scratches or spotting. The orange hands retain a vivid tone, while the luminous material on the hands and indexes has aged evenly to a pale beige color. The case shows only minor scratches from use, and the edges remain well defined, with the brushed finish on the upper surface still clearly visible. The slide-rule bezel retains its outer coin-edge detail and printed scale in good condition, preserving the strong presence that defines this model. The bracelet is also in good condition and suits the overall character of the watch very well. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The Cal.12 is an automatic chronograph with the crown positioned on the left side of the case, a design that helps keep the crown away from the back of the hand when worn. The right sub-dial is the 30-minute recorder, the left sub-dial is the 12-hour recorder, and the center carries the hour and minute hands along with the chronograph seconds hand. There is no running seconds display. The date at 6 o’clock can be advanced semi-quickly by moving the hands back and forth across midnight. With its large case, slide-rule bezel, and vivid orange accents, this is a watch that clearly captures the appeal of 1970s Heuer.
