COMMENT

1970年前後に製造された、オメガ ダイナミックのデイデイトモデルです。ステンレススチールケースは、手首に沿う楕円形のフォルムと、幅広のヘアライン仕上げベゼルが特徴。ブルーとシルバーを同心円状に配したダイヤルには、外周のミニッツトラックと3時位置のデイデイト表示を備えています。白い夜光入りの針と、鮮やかなブルーのセンターセコンドが、色分けされたダイヤルに動きを加えています。ムーブメントは24石の自動巻きCal.752を搭載します。

ケースとブレスレットには使用に伴う小傷や擦れが見られますが、ケースのフォルムは保たれ、ヘアライン仕上げも残っています。ブルーとシルバーのダイヤルは色の対比が明瞭で、各表示やプリントも鮮明です。外周のブルー部分や夜光には経年による色調の変化が見られ、製造から年月を経たヴィンテージウォッチらしい表情を添えています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ダイナミックは、手首に沿う装着感を意識した楕円形ケースと、交換可能なストラップシステムを特徴として1968年に登場しました。Ref.166.079は、その独創的なケースデザインにデイデイト機能を組み合わせたバリエーションです。幾何学的なケースとブルーの同心円ダイヤル、実用的なCal.752が調和し、1960年代末から70年代初頭にかけてのオメガらしい先進的な意匠をよく伝えています

COMMENT

This Omega Dynamic day-date model was produced around 1970. Its stainless steel case features an elliptical profile designed to follow the curve of the wrist, framed by a broad brushed bezel. The dial is arranged in concentric bands of blue and silver, with a minute track around the perimeter and a day-date display at 3 o’clock. White luminous hands and a vivid blue central seconds hand bring contrast and movement to the two-tone composition. It is powered by the 24-jewel automatic Cal. 752.

The case and bracelet show minor scratches and wear from use, while the distinctive case shape and brushed finish remain well preserved. The contrast between the blue and silver sections of the dial remains clear, and the printing and displays are crisp. Subtle changes in tone are visible on the blue outer section and luminous material, lending the watch a natural vintage character. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Introduced in 1968, the Dynamic was distinguished by its wrist-hugging elliptical case and interchangeable strap system. Ref. 166.079 combines this unconventional case design with the practical addition of a day-date display. Its geometric form, concentric blue dial, and reliable Cal. 752 reflect Omega’s forward-looking approach to watch design in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
