The OMEGA Seamaster 120 Ref.166.073 “Deep Blue” is a vintage Omega diver distinguished by its deep blue dial and rounded case profile. The glossy navy dial is fitted with bold baton indexes, a diamond-shaped hour hand, and a bullet-shaped minute hand, offering excellent legibility. From the case sides to the lugs, the case has a solid, three-dimensional form designed to sit well on the wrist, giving the watch the strength expected of a practical tool watch. This example retains its original dial from the period. As many examples of this model are seen with later service dials, an original dial without cracks is especially desirable. The watch is fitted with an original Omega Ref.1170/634 bracelet.

The case does not show the impression of heavy past refinishing and retains good proportions. There are few scratches, and the distinctive rounded case form remains well preserved, with a smooth feel in the hand. The bezel rotates properly with a crisp clicking action. The glossy blue dial is free from the cracking sometimes seen on this model and retains its rich, lustrous surface. The color is even, with no noticeable aging. The luminous material on the hands, indexes, and bezel is well matched in tone, creating a very attractive contrast against the blue dial. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
