時計デザイナー、ジェラルド・ジェンタが手掛けたデザインとして広く知られる「Cラインケース」を採用した、オメガ・コンステレーションです。ケースとラグを一体化し、専用ブレスレットまで連続性をもたせた流麗なシルエットが特徴。本機はその後継世代にあたり、風防はアクリルからガラスへ変更され、ムーブメントには次世代の自動巻きCal.1011を搭載しています。文字盤の「CHRONOMETER」表記は、姿勢差や温度差などに関する公的な精度試験を通過したムーブメントであることを示します。

ケースは使用に伴う傷が少なく、全体のシルエットとヘアラインを良好に保っています。メタリックグレーのダイヤルは目立つ経年変化のない美しいコンディションで、光の角度によって変化する濃淡も鮮明です。針には目立つ傷がなく、バーインデックスに施されたブラックのラインも欠けることなく残っています。ケースと一体感をもたせて設計されたオメガ純正ブレスレットが装着されています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

COMMENT

This Omega Constellation features the “C-Case,” a design widely attributed to watch designer Gérald Genta. The integrated case and lugs flow continuously into the dedicated bracelet, creating a smooth and cohesive silhouette. This example belongs to the succeeding generation, with glass replacing the earlier acrylic crystal and the next-generation automatic Cal. 1011 fitted inside. The “CHRONOMETER” designation on the dial indicates that the movement passed official precision testing under variations in position and temperature.

The case shows few scratches from use and retains its overall silhouette and brushed finish well. The metallic grey dial remains in beautiful condition, with no noticeable signs of age, while its shifting tones remain distinct as the angle of light changes. The hands show no prominent scratches, and the black inlays within the baton indexes remain intact. It is fitted with the original Omega bracelet, designed to integrate seamlessly with the case. The sporting character of the C-Case is balanced by a restrained dial with slender pencil hands and baton indexes, preserving the composed appearance of a dress watch.
