1960年代に製造されたカレンダー・オート・オリエントのダイバーズモデル40mダイバー。ガードレスケースとステンレス製の回転ベゼルが、無骨なヴィンテー時代バーらしいデザインです。ブラックミラーダイヤルにアローハンド、珍しいカットのインデックスが迫力充分のフェイスデザインです。
ケースは小傷が見られるものの、迫力のあるプロポーションです。使用により、ケースバックの刻印は薄くなっています。ダイヤルはミラーの艶が完璧に残りみずみずしいです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

オリエントは国内ブランド大手のセイコーやシチズンに続く日本のメーカーのいう意味合いを込めて「時計業界の三男坊」といわれ親しまれているブランドです。1901年、吉田庄五郎という時計職人が上野に開いた吉田時計店が始まり。

The Calendar Auto Orient Diver's Model 40m Diver, manufactured in the 1960s, embodies the rugged design typical of the vintage era with its guardless case and stainless steel rotating bezel. Featuring a black mirror dial with arrow hands and unusual cut indices, it boasts a striking face design.
While the case may show some minor scratches, it maintains an impressive proportion. Over time, the engravings on the case back have become faint due to use. The dial retains a perfect mirror gloss, appearing fresh and vibrant. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our company.

Orient, often referred to as the "third son" of the watch industry in Japan, is beloved for its significance as a Japanese manufacturer following major domestic brands like Seiko and Citizen. It traces its origins back to 1901 when a watchmaker named Shogoro Yoshida opened the Yoshida Watch Shop in Ueno.
