日常使いし易い自動巻モデルのスピードマスター。手ごろな価格のスピードマスターとして近年人気を博しています。丸みのあるアクリル風防がクラシックな印象です。ツイストラグやベゼルのタキメーターなど随所にプロフェッショナルモデルの名残が確認できます。ダイアルはブルーのサンレイ仕上げ、0時位置は30分積算計、6時位置はクロノグラフ12時間積算計、9時位置はスモールセコンドです。ベースの機械はETA社製のメンテナンス性が高い機械です。オメガ仕様に美しくブラッシュアップされています。

ケースは目立った傷や打痕がなく、オメガならではのシェイプの良さを堪能できます。カラーダイアルに劣化は見当たりません。過去に入水歴は見られず、ミントコンディションです。針やインデックスは上面のメッキにくすみがなく、清潔感に溢れています。半球状のルミナスに欠けは見られず、均一な色味が美しいです。当店にてオーバーホール済みで、48時間のパワーリザーブを確認しています。自動巻きの性能も申し分ありません。

The classic rounded acrylic-style crystal adds a vintage touch, and remnants of the professional model are evident in features like the twisted lugs and the tachymeter on the bezel. The blue sunray-finished dial showcases sub-dials at the 0 o'clock position for 30-minute chronograph accumulation, 6 o'clock position for the chronograph's 12-hour accumulation, and 9 o'clock position for the small seconds. The base movement is from ETA, known for its high maintainability, and has been refined to Omega specifications.

While today the equation "Speedmaster equals Space" is immediately apparent, in its inception, the Speedmaster was born as a pure motorsports watch with no connection to space. The Speedmaster is renowned for being the world's first watch to display a tachymeter on the external bezel instead of the dial. In 1959, the Speedmaster underwent a minor change, with the bezel transitioning to a black aluminum base and the needle shape changing from arrow hands to alpha hands, resulting in improved visibility. NASA, in search of a robust chronograph capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of space, selected the Speedmaster after it outperformed other top contenders. The iconic moment came in 1969 when the Speedmaster was worn during the first moon landing, solidifying its status as an official NASA timepiece.
